Extend Your Living Space

We were delighted to help our client transform her first home. Such a difference even a small extension can make to the way you use a space. Add great landscaping and look at it now! The best feature is the seamless floor transition, inside to out.
Most importantly the extension for improved living and dining space looks terrific and works hard. Complete with aluminium 4-part powder-coated grey centre sliders. For space saving we’ve included our signature pocket door at the hall and for light the 2 large low pitch Velux are impressive. While upstairs we did a shower room renovation and built-in bedroom storage solutions.

Talk About Transformation

Talk about a blank canvas! Our clients have cleverly given life to this 2 bed bungalow. Clear on their vision they have applied a few simple but effective improvements and modernised this home to enjoy for years to come.
To start, we opened up living space by taking out the wall between the kitchen and front room, allowing a generous room with defined areas for living, dining and cooking. The updated kitchen (by Kitchen World) has everything you’d need and an inviting aspect to the completely landscaped courtyard.
The heating has been upgraded throughout with a new boiler and new radiators. The original back boiler was removed from the chimney breast and a new fireplace (by The Living Room) installed for maximum cosiness.
Of course the bathroom needed complete remodelling and now boasts a rain head shower and touch operation vanity mirror.
Munster Joinery supplied the replacement doors and windows with energy efficient glazing bringing in much-needed light to show off the revived space.
This home has been given a new lease on life and a Mediterranean style courtyard to boot!

It’s a quandary and the frustration across the industry is beyond palpable. The situation is unmanageable due to the lack of commitment on all sides and the outlook is not favourable. “Some contractors simply can’t stand over the prices they gave three months ago. They would go out of business if they tried to.” (CIF) This is a summary of some key points in recent articles across various publications including The Irish Times, The Examiner & The Sun. Rise in cost of building materials and tight supply put construction on the back foot

Rise in cost of building materials and tight supply put construction on the back foot. ‘The increases are due to very severe supply shortages.’ A rise in construction materials costs is the latest setback to hit the industry. It won’t be news to anyone that the construction industry has been released out of lockdown straight into high demand for building projects of all kinds – it’s busy out there. As much as builders would love to tackle this demand head on, it is met with a new obstacle: increasing material prices & decreasing supply….
